The NC Zoo

Ricky, Heather and Addison are here spending the week with us from WV. We have had such a good time so far, and the kids are playing great and totally loving it! We thought it would be fun to go to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro, which is supposedly one of the biggest here in the U.S.

We decided it was only the biggest because of all the land they own. . . we felt like we walked 500 miles! You can see the kids enjoyed themselves and that they rode in the wagon most of the time :-)

I think, considering it was a 2 hour drive, 90 some degrees. . .and LOTS of walking. . . the adults decided our favorite part was the tram rides from one side of the park to the other :-) It was definitely a memory maker though.
